Why is it important to carefully map the existing competencies of staff to organisational needs? 


Session 3: Monitor & Support Team Members - YELLOW tiles

This includes:


  • Communication workflows
  • Maintain workplace records
  • Performance reviews
  • Making decisions
  • Decision making process
  • Effective decision making

A few points to think about for your blog:
Explain a situation where staff have assisted you to identify opportunities for improvement.
Identify one change your workplace has made in recent years in response to emerging industry trends and practices. 

List five examples of operations records that you are required to maintain in your workplace. 

Session 4: Solve Problems & Make Decisions - RED tiles

This includes:

  • Problems that require decisions
  • Types of decision makers
  • Guidelines for decision makers
  • Problem solving principles
  • Types of problems in the workplace
  • The problem solving processe workers

A few points to think about for your blog:
List four ways that you can involve staff in the problem solving process. 
List three benefits of involving staff in the problem solving process.  
What should you do when a team member raises a problem? Explain why
